Understanding Cambridge Learners

We have reached a milestone in our school year: our first round of interim reports.  Please review your child's progress with him or her and evaluate their performance.  Often, a child may not be doing as well as he or she thinks so this is a perfect time to set a goal for the rest of the quarter.

Other notes:
Recently, the MPTPA held its first parent night of the year.  Included in this evening was a meet-and-greet with the school administration, an overview of a potential middle school sports program, and an introduction to our PTO.  We are looking forward to our next parent event this month.

Our afterschool programming is getting quite full.  This year, we have several offerings, including Green Team, Robotics, Running Club, and soon our choir is set to return to action.  These groups are in addition to the teachers who stay late to help with students on a regular basis.

Field trips for our theme classes are gearing up.  Our theme coach, Ms. Luna-Colon has worked well with our partners to ensure a meaningful trip for all.  Please stay tuned for further details and pictures.

Open house is on September 15th! We hope to see all our parents that evening. Our doors are open for you!

Our first day is finally here! Despite the tropical storm, we are ready to officially welcome the start of re 2011-2012 school year!

Our teachers have officially started the year today. The energy and enthusiasm with our new and returning teachers was amazing!

The countdown to the first day is underway! We can't wait for the start of school!
